Live app preview now shows your chosen colors, not dark mode
On devices with dark mode enabled, the preview of a template inside OverSkill was showing a confusing half-dark, half-light mix. Previews now always show your app exactly as you designed it.
- Template previews now display your authored colors accurately every time
- Dark mode on your device no longer bleeds into the in-app preview
- What you see in the preview is what your users will see
Logged-out visitors no longer hit an endless loading spinner
Users who visited a direct link or bookmark to a protected page while logged out would sometimes see a spinner that never went away. They're now correctly redirected to log in and sent to the right place afterward.
- Direct links and bookmarks now work correctly for logged-out visitors
- No more infinite loading screens on public-facing apps
- Users are sent to the right page after logging in, even from a deep link
AI edits on large app files no longer fail with false errors
When using AI to edit a large section of your app, you may have seen repeated error messages suggesting a problem with your file — even when nothing was wrong. This was a detection issue on our end, and it's now fixed.
- AI-powered edits on bigger app files now complete successfully
- No more confusing error messages that blamed your file for an OverSkill issue
- Large apps get the same reliable editing experience as smaller ones
"Get Started with OverSkill" now takes existing users to the right place
Existing OverSkill users clicking the 'Get Started' button in the games app were being looped back to the games area instead of entering the OverSkill builder. They're now taken directly where they need to go.
- Existing users clicking 'Get Started' now land in OverSkill, not back where they started
- No more redirect loops for returning customers
- The onboarding flow works correctly whether you're new or an existing user
Team menu cleaned up — no more duplicate invite option
The workspace menu showed two entries for managing team members, which was confusing and showed an 'Invite teammates' option to people who shouldn't see it. The menu is now clean and role-appropriate.
- The workspace dropdown no longer shows a duplicate team entry
- Regular members no longer see an invite option they can't act on
- Team navigation is cleaner and less confusing for everyone
Member directory plan column no longer floods with repeated notices
In some apps, a single member's Plan column was being buried under dozens of identical repeated notices, hiding the actual plan information. This is now collapsed and displays cleanly.
- The member directory Plan column now displays clearly without repeated duplicates
- Plan information is easy to read at a glance again
- Member management pages load and display correctly for all plan types
App forms and inputs now look exactly as designed
Form fields, dropdowns, and toggles in generated apps had drifted from their intended look — borders, backgrounds, and text colors weren't matching your design. Everything now renders correctly across both light and dark themes.
- Input fields, selects, and toggles display the correct colors and borders
- Consistent look in both light and dark themes
- Your design choices are faithfully reflected across all form elements
