AI builder now gives accurate answers about push notifications

The AI assistant was incorrectly telling builders that push notifications couldn't be sent in the background. It now correctly guides you to set up real push notifications for your app.

  • AI builder now correctly explains how to add push notifications to your app
  • No more being redirected to a limited in-app inbox when push notifications are fully supported

Sign-in page buttons now match the OverSkill brand

The Google, Apple, and GitHub sign-in buttons were incorrectly showing in green instead of their proper neutral styling. They now look exactly as designed.

  • OAuth sign-in buttons display with correct neutral styling
  • The sign-in page now matches the intended v2 design across all login options

10 new funnel templates ready to publish

Ten professionally designed marketing funnel templates are now available in the template library, covering a wider range of campaign and lead-generation styles.

  • 10 new funnel templates available instantly — just pick and publish
  • Covers more campaign types: lead gen, product launches, sales pages, and more
  • Same one-click setup as existing templates

Purple and magenta are gone — brand colors are consistent everywhere

Some status badges and UI labels were showing an off-brand purple color that didn't belong in OverSkill's green-accented design. Everything now uses the correct brand palette.

  • Status indicators and badges now display in the correct brand colors
  • No more random purple text appearing in your app builder UI

App deployments are now faster and more reliable

An unnecessary waiting step has been removed from the deployment process, so updates to your app go live significantly faster even when the platform is busy.

  • App updates deploy faster — no more waiting in a queue behind platform traffic
  • Deployments no longer time out on busy days

AI assistant focuses on fixing your app, not filing support tickets

The AI builder was previously filing support tickets for errors it encountered inside your own generated app — errors it could just fix itself. It now handles those in-context, so issues get resolved faster without creating unnecessary noise.

  • Build and runtime errors in your app are addressed directly by the AI instead of being escalated
  • Faster resolution — the assistant tries to fix problems in the same conversation
  • Support tickets are now reserved for genuine platform-level issues

Faster deploys — no more waiting in a long publish queue

When multiple updates are ready to publish at the same time, OverSkill now intelligently skips redundant steps and deploys only the latest version — slashing wait times significantly.

  • Back-to-back publish requests now resolve in roughly one deploy cycle instead of many
  • Dramatically reduces the queue wait time during busy periods
  • Your latest changes get live faster, even when others are publishing simultaneously

Chat in the editor feels smoother and more focused

When you send a message in the app editor, the conversation now scrolls to keep your message front and center while the AI reply streams in below — no more content jumping around as responses load.

  • Your sent message stays visible at the top while the AI responds
  • Responses fill in naturally below without pushing your view around
  • Makes long back-and-forth build sessions much easier to follow

Login pages now match the rest of the OverSkill experience

The sign-in, sign-up, and magic link screens have been refreshed to match OverSkill's current design — so the whole product feels consistent from the moment you log in.

  • Login and signup pages now share the same visual style as the dashboard and editor
  • Magic link email confirmation screen no longer looks out of place

A new public page at overskill.com/live shows a real-time pulse of building activity across the platform — how many creators are building how many apps right now.

  • Visit overskill.com/live anytime to see the platform in action
  • Numbers update automatically every 15 seconds
  • Fully anonymous — no names or app details, just aggregate energy

AI credits balance updates instantly after a purchase

After buying credits or joining a membership, your AI credits counter on the main dashboard now refreshes right away — no more seeing zero while your balance is actually topped up.

  • Credits counter reflects your real balance immediately after checkout
  • No need to refresh the page or visit settings to see your updated balance

Close image previews in the editor with one click

The close button on image previews inside the editor chat now works correctly — clicking the X or the background overlay dismisses the preview as expected.

  • Image lightbox close button and backdrop click now reliably close the preview
  • No more being stuck on an expanded image with no way out

Build time estimate now matches reality

The 'Creating Your App' screen used to promise 30–60 seconds — we've updated it to reflect the real first-build time of around 10–15 minutes so you always know what to expect.

  • No more wondering if something went wrong — the timer you see now matches what's actually happening
  • Honest, plain-language progress messaging from the moment you kick off a new build

Uploaded images in chat no longer crop or overflow

When you sent a photo in the app builder chat, it could appear squished and cut off next to your message instead of sitting neatly below it. That layout bug is now fixed.

  • Uploaded photos display cleanly below your chat message
  • No more cropped or overflowing images in conversation view

Images in your published apps now load reliably everywhere

Images stored in subfolders (like a press or team section) were showing as broken in published apps. This is now fixed so every image renders correctly for your end users.

  • Nested image folders no longer produce broken images in production
  • Affects images in any subfolder under your app's image directory
  • No changes needed from you — already-published apps benefit automatically
