About this template
Overview
Skein tracks a nine-person woollen mill from greasy fleece to finished cloth. The mill floor is a stage-by-stage board spanning fleece intake, scouring, carding, spinning, plying, warping, weaving, and finishing, with every lot carrying its breed, micron count, live kilos, waste percentage, station and operator. It is built on a Bauhaus weaving-draft grid with Jost display type, primary red and indigo on bone, and real drawn threading diagrams as imagery.
