Overview

Indemnity is the complete operating record of a mutual marine Protection & Indemnity association. Members enter their ships and pay an advance call per gross ton at the commencement of each policy year; should the year's claims exceed the calls, a supplementary call is levied on the same members. The Club is a mutual — the members are the insurers — and every entry, call, claim and board resolution is recorded here.
