Aquifer runs a district water utility end to end — three chalk wellfields, a surface intake, two treatment works, four service reservoirs and 1,140 km of main. The Source & Abstraction Board tracks licensed vs actual Ml/d, licence headroom, rest and pumping water levels in metres AOD, drawdown and raw-water quality, flagging licence-headroom breaches, drawdown triggers, nitrate rises and overdue samples. Treatment works carry per-stage dosing, filter head loss and final chlorine and turbidity; distribution reports minimum night flow and leakage by DMA; the compliance lab logs every determinand against its prescribed concentration value.
