Portrait & landscape photos now display correctly in lightboxes
Images opened in the media lightbox now stay true to their original shape — tall portrait shots no longer get squashed into landscape boxes, and vice versa.
- Portrait photos (e.g. 9:16 phone shots) display tall, not stretched wide
- Landscape stills keep their natural proportions in the viewer
- Consistent across all Creative and media-preview lightboxes
Your affiliate earnings dashboard now shows accurate totals
The affiliate earnings ledger was displaying an outdated figure instead of your real current balance. It now correctly reflects what you've actually earned.
- Affiliate earnings totals now match your actual payouts
- The dashboard updates reliably after each earnings check
332 merchants can now accept payments again
A fix resolves an issue where a large number of verified creators were unable to accept payments despite completing onboarding. If you were affected, your storefront should now work correctly.
- Verified creators who completed onboarding can now sell without issues
- Payment setup now fully carries through for all new accounts going forward
Drop an image or file into chat to build with it
You can now attach a screenshot, logo, PDF, or design mock directly in an AI chat session and it'll be used as a real build asset when creating or updating your app — no extra upload steps needed.
- Share a screenshot or mockup in chat and watch it become part of your app
- Works with images, PDFs, and logos dropped straight into the conversation
- Skips the separate upload step — the file goes directly into the build
Upload images in chat — with a clear tip when format isn't supported
When you paste or upload an SVG image in the builder chat, you'll now get a helpful message telling you exactly what to do (export it as PNG) instead of a confusing error. PNG, JPEG, GIF, and WebP are fully supported.
- No more cryptic error messages when uploading unsupported image types
- Clear, actionable guidance to convert SVGs to PNG before uploading
- Supported formats (PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP) work exactly as expected
AI agent builds now tell you exactly why something failed
When an AI-assisted build doesn't go through, you'll now get a clear reason why — whether it's a credit issue, a build error, or something else — so you and any connected agents know what to do next without guessing.
- Failed builds now surface a real explanation, not silence
- Credit-related stops are clearly flagged so agents know not to keep retrying
- Works whether you're checking manually or using an automated workflow
App logos no longer get an unwanted border
Custom logos placed in your app's header were automatically getting a faint outline added around them — even when you didn't want one. That's fixed, and your branding now appears exactly as you designed it.
- Logo images display cleanly without any automatic border or outline
- Your app's visual identity looks exactly as intended out of the box
File attachments in AI chat now reliably kick off a build
Images and files shared in AI chat sessions — including those from external tools — now correctly trigger a build every time, even when the file arrives in an unexpected format.
- PNG and PDF files from connected AI tools no longer silently fail to start a build
- Unsupported file types (like Office documents) are declined clearly instead of causing a broken build
- File handling is now consistent regardless of how the file was sent
Manage and disconnect your connected AI tools in one place
You can now see every AI tool you've connected to OverSkill — like Cursor or Claude — along with when each was last used and which team it belongs to. Disconnect any of them instantly from your account page.
- View all connected AI tools from a single page on your account
- See which team each tool is linked to and when it was last active
- Disconnect any tool with one click whenever you need to
App previews wake up correctly after going idle
Previews that paused after a period of inactivity now resume reliably when you return, instead of showing a broken or frozen screen. Idle tabs also no longer silently keep your app running in the background.
- Returning to a paused app preview now shows a proper 'waking up' state instead of a dead screen
- Leaving a tab open in the background no longer keeps your preview running unnecessarily
- Resuming a paused preview works consistently whether you're in the editor or not
Media viewer no longer cuts off videos or image captions
In the creative media lightbox, videos, captions, and navigation counters were being clipped or pushed off-screen. Everything now fits neatly within your screen — no scrolling needed to see your full media.
- Videos display fully with all playback controls visible
- Image captions and photo counters no longer get cut off
- The media viewer fits any screen size cleanly
Signed-in users now appear in their own people directory
In apps with a member or people directory, the currently signed-in user was missing from their own list — they could never find themselves. This is now fixed, and every user's profile is created correctly from the moment they log in.
- Users now appear in their own app's member directory as expected
- Search and browsing within people directories return complete results
- Newly generated directory apps create user profiles automatically on sign-in
AI catches pages that were built but never made reachable
OverSkill's builder now detects when pages are created but accidentally left disconnected — meaning users would have no way to navigate to them. These orphaned pages are flagged automatically so your app works completely before it ships.
- Pages you build are checked to make sure they're actually reachable in your app
- Catches a common generation mistake before your app goes live
- Saves you from shipping an app with hidden, unreachable screens
