Custom domain setup now gives you clear, reliable DNS instructions

The DNS steps shown when connecting a custom domain now use a stable record that never expires, so your domain and SSL certificate activate correctly without mysterious failures.

  • DNS instructions now show a permanent record that stays valid through certificate renewals
  • No more pasting a record that silently stops working — your domain connects and stays connected
  • Fewer support tickets, fewer head-scratching delays when going live with a client site

Marketing pages look sharper in dark mode

Dark mode on our marketing pages now displays clean, neutral greys instead of blue-tinted ones — so what you share with clients looks polished on any screen or device setting.

  • Dark mode colours now match the intended design across all marketing pages
  • Consistent look whether visitors use light or dark system themes
  • No action needed — the fix applies automatically to everyone

Pricing page now shows up correctly in Google & social previews

The OverSkill pricing page was showing a bare title in search results and when shared on social media. It now displays the full title, description, and preview image everywhere it's shared.

  • Pricing page now appears correctly in Google search results
  • Social shares (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn) now show the right title and description
  • No more blank or generic 'Overskill' titles when linking to the pricing page

AI usage is now tracked accurately across all model types

Certain AI models were not being counted toward your usage, which could cause inconsistencies in how your plan consumption was reported. This is now fixed across all supported models.

  • Usage is now measured consistently no matter which AI model powers your app
  • Your usage dashboard reflects the full picture, so there are no surprises at billing time

Whop subscribers can now manage their memberships without errors

Members of apps using Whop for subscriptions were able to see their membership but couldn't cancel it. That's now fixed — subscription management works reliably for returning members.

  • Returning Whop members can now view and cancel their subscriptions as expected
  • No more dead ends when managing memberships inside your app

Chat scrolls to the right place every time

When opening a chat conversation, you now land directly on the latest unread message — no more manual scrolling to catch up. The experience is smoother and more reliable throughout the whole conversation.

  • Chat opens directly at the newest unread message automatically
  • Scroll position stays stable even as new messages load in
  • Returning to a chat tab brings you back to where you left off

App builder now handles complex multi-page content reliably

A frustrating loop where the AI builder would repeatedly fail and get stuck when generating apps with certain rich content layouts has been fixed. Your app generation now completes smoothly without stalling or producing empty no-change versions.

  • No more generation getting stuck in a retry loop on complex pages
  • Apps with multi-section content (like beliefs, features, or FAQ pages) now build correctly on the first run
  • Fewer incomplete or zero-change builds slipping through during editing

Team-based apps now save and write data correctly

Apps built for teams — where multiple people share access to the same data — were silently failing to save new records in certain situations. This is now fixed, so team apps work exactly as designed from day one.

  • Team apps with shared data tables now create and update records as expected
  • No more invisible write failures when your app is set up for team access
  • Builders working on multi-user or client-portal style apps will see reliable data saving

GPT-6 Astra builds apps faster and more reliably

Apps built with GPT-6 Astra were hitting errors during generation. We've resolved the compatibility issues so builds with the latest model complete smoothly and consistently.

  • GPT-6 Astra now completes app generation without hitting dead ends
  • All AI builder tools work correctly with the newest model
  • More reliable builds across complex app structures

Your published app URLs are back to instant, reliable loading

On September 2nd, apps on OverSkill subdomains briefly showed a "couldn't find that app" error page for roughly 15 minutes. The root cause has been fully resolved and this cannot recur in the same way.

  • Published app links now load correctly every time, with no dead-end error pages
  • Fixes an issue that affected all subdomain-based app URLs during a short window
  • Underlying routing now handles large numbers of published apps without missing any

Out-of-credits alerts now actually reach you

In some situations, the notification telling you that a background process ran out of credits was silently disappearing. That alert will now reliably land so you're never left wondering why something stopped working.

  • Credit failure alerts now deliver consistently, no more silent failures
  • You'll always know when a background task needs attention

Build notifications only appear when you actually need them

The 'build complete' pop-up no longer interrupts you while you're actively watching your app update in the preview — it only appears when you're working in a different tab and wouldn't see the update otherwise.

  • No more redundant pop-ups covering the preview you're already looking at
  • Notifications still appear when you're in another tab so you never miss a finished build

Cleaner preview pane while your app is building

The duplicate 'Play while you wait' card that used to appear in the preview pane during builds has been removed — the games launcher in the bottom corner already handles that, so the preview stays clean and uncluttered.

  • Preview pane is less cluttered while a build is in progress
  • Access to games while you wait is still available via the bottom-left launcher

Smoother animation when switching login methods

Toggling between magic link and password login on your app's sign-in screen now fades gracefully instead of jumping abruptly — a small but noticeable polish improvement for your users.

  • Sign-in forms transition smoothly when switching between magic link and password
  • No more jarring layout jumps on the login screen

Slow database calls now time out cleanly instead of hanging forever

If a database request takes too long to respond, your app now returns a clear error quickly rather than freezing indefinitely — so your users see feedback instead of a stuck screen.

  • Apps no longer hang on slow or unresponsive database calls
  • Users see a proper error message quickly rather than waiting forever with no feedback
